Xyphoid 0 Posted February 26, 2000 does anyone know how i can get my stylus color 600 working in win2000? epson doesn't have 2000 drivers for anything, and ntcompat doesn't say anything about the 600. thanks, Xyphoid Share this post Link to post

Shrink 0 Posted February 26, 2000 Epson Stylus Color drivers are included in Win2k Final. Epson hasn't released any others. ------------------ Shrink 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO! Share this post Link to post
pr-man 1 Posted March 9, 2000 xyphoid here are the new 600 drivershttp://www.ntcompatible.com/cgi-bin/pickem.cgi?es640w2k ------------------ ***TRUST YOUR TECHNOLUST*** Share this post Link to post
Shrink 0 Posted March 9, 2000 Those are for the Stylus Color 640 not the 600. Can you confirm that they work with the 600? As was pointed out, Win2k ships with drivers for the 600 that work fine, except they don't have the utility that tells you how much ink is left. ------------------ Shrink 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO! burger 0 Posted April 27, 2000 The 640 drivers are ok if you are using a local printer, but my Color Stylus 600 is hanging off an Nt 4 Server on the network and I need to setup the the Stylus as a network printer. When I try the add network printer wizard, i get the "server has wrong drivers" message - even when I have installed the win2k drivers on my box... Any ideas??? ------------------ boo Share this post Link to post
Shrink 0 Posted April 27, 2000 I think the only option you have is to use the 600 drivers from the Win2k CD. They work fine, except for lack of monitoring (the 640 doesn't give that either with the 600) and no 14400 res printing. ------------------ Shrink 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO!
