Helium Foot Software proudly announces the release of MercuryMover v2.0 Public Beta. With MercuryMover, anyone can move and resize the windows on a Mac from the keyboard. Version 2.0 brings one-key shortcuts and a display of the size and position of the active window. During the three-week public beta period, MercuryMover v1.1 will be discounted by more than 20%. MercuryMover v2.0 will be released on September 21st, 2008 and will be a free upgrade for all v1.x license holders.

 

Chicago, Illinois - Helium Foot Software proudly announces the immediate release of MercuryMover v2.0 public beta. With MercuryMover, anyone can move and resize the windows on a Mac from the keyboard, precisely positioning the windows anywhere on the screen. In addition to the moving and resizing available since its first release, Version 2.0 introduces one-key shortcuts, window information, and an updated interface. During the three-week public beta period, MercuryMover v1.1 will be discounted by more than 20%.

 

Discount:

In celebration of the upcoming release, Helium Foot Software is offering a 20% discount on sales of the current version (1.1) of MercuryMover. MercuryMover 2.0 will be a free upgrade for all license holders.

 

Shortcuts:

Shortcuts, the flagship feature of this version, provides a mechanism to assign a single key to a favorite window size and/or position. While using MercuryMover, typing that key will instantly change the window to the specified size and location. Shortcuts can be created by cloning the size and position of an existing window or by typing the width, height and left/top coordinates into the shortcut editor in MercuryMover's preference pane.

 

Window Information:

MercuryMover now includes a heads-up display which shows the current window's width, height and distance from the top left corner of the main screen.

On September 21st, 2008, MercuryMover v2.0 will be available for purchase at the regular price of $24 USD. A free 100-use demo will also be available for download.
