Kyosho46vr 0 Posted May 13, 2000 Ok, I have lost my OS several times in 2000 and gave up, went to 98, and said yuk. I havent loaded any drivers other than the ones Windows loaded during install. I found in 98 if I loaded the VIA busmastering driver my data became corrupt in 2-3 days. Things seems weird but true, infact I bought a new harddrive(Western Digital 13.6 gig) to see if I had a bad drive and after I loaded the VIA driver my sys locked at the splash screen tighter than a wedge. Any thoughts?
