Jester 0 Posted May 15, 2000 Uhhh...Since a name like Lucky Star sounds so "trustworthy", I would use the Abit. It's a great board. Share this post Link to post
pr-man 1 Posted May 15, 2000 Does the BH6 Rev 1.0 have any issues with windows 2000? I will be using a celeron 300a and a Matrox G400 32 meg agp card ------------------ ***TRUST YOUR TECHNOLUST*** Share this post Link to post
ledzeppel 0 Posted May 15, 2000 Nope, works killer. On my second PC I have a BH6 rev 1.0 and celeron 300A@464 and a TNT2 Ultra. I have mine setup as ACPI. You have to do it manually though, because Win2000 will set it up as a Standard PC if you don't hit F6 during the installation. But you may not want ACPI, for me it is a must cuz I like to use Standby, and I leave this PC on 24/7. It never reboots. I have no idea about that Matrox card, you'll research that one yourself. Cheers. Share this post Link to post
Palos 0 Posted May 15, 2000 You might have problems with the Matrox card...look around for issues and stuff. I heard many ppl complain about the Matrox/G400 combo Share this post Link to post
BladeRunner 0 Posted May 15, 2000 Hi, Just an addition on the G400 card. I have a G400MAX with Win2000 and it runs excellent. Make sure you download the Microsoft Certified drivers and it will work like a dream. (Getting my bloody G400MAX to run in AGP 2x is a whole different matter, but not Win2k related) Share this post Link to post
