DirectPad Pro

Hi!

Anyone got the above to work in Win2k yet?

I'm using a Playstation to PC joypad convertor and everytime I attempt to install this in Win2000, it always fails at the last moment ( I think drivers not compatible or something like that ).

Is there anyone who has managed to get it working or even better, find another driver that accomplished the same function under Win2000?

frown its a shame isn't, the driver uses a VXD which win2k won't touch with a barge pole [thats a long stick used to push canal barges, for u un educated US people smile ]

I've looked in vain, but have downloaded the source code, all I need to do now is figure out how to program the parallel port in win2k, and how to make Dinput drivers for win2k. And what the hell are C++ classes and function type stuff?? Can it be that hard? (yes!)

I actually got so deprived of a joypad that I tried to re-install win98, but after all the bios updates and stuff, plus not being able to remember the correct order of the many, many patches, it failed miserably. The OS just hanged, BSOD'd, and reset... Funny that Beos, Caldera eDesktop, QNX, and win2k are running flawlessly.

Hardware fault caused by win2k beta3 and dodgy bios, now irrepairable.
