wallsplatter 0 Posted June 2, 2000 Yeah WTF? SOF ran just fine with the leaked version of the 5.22 W2K drivers. Now I get: GLimp_EndFrame()-SwapBUffers() failed! on startup. This REALLLY pisses me off. Share this post Link to post
Ekstreme 0 Posted June 2, 2000 I've had the same prob wiht SOF, and I must say, I'm pretty pi*sed. Anyway, the only fix I've found is to not install 5.22 AT ALL. Here's instructions on how to get rid of them if you already have (thanks to 3dtweak) "Right clicking on My Computer, Properties, Hardware, Device Manager, Display Adapters > then remove the driver. Then go into your Windows2000 folder, Inf folder, and remove all files with "nv" at the beginning. Then go to the System32 folder and do the same. Once that's done, press Start, Run, type regedit, press Enter. Then go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, and delete the folder called NVIDIA Corporation. Then go to HKEY_CURRENT USER, SOFTWARE, and do the same thing. Close Registry Editor and reboot." I don't think it's going to be too long before we see another nVidia update. Outrage 0 Posted June 2, 2000 I had the same problem. I fixed this by replacing the 'nvoglnt.dll' located in '\winnt\system32' with the same file from a previous "working" driver set. Hope this helps. Share this post Link to post
