news 28 Posted October 29, 2008 Hello, We've just posted our latest review and would love it if you linked to it. Thanks greatly! "Some say that with today's computers, defragmentation is unnecessary and then list a hundred ways for someone to go in and tweak the computer. However, even if you were to tweak your computer and manage not to tweak the wrong component and render the computer inoperable, defrag is still a necessary task. For those who want relatively fast results and minimal computer downtime, Diskeeper 2008 Pro Premier's automatic defrag feature is ideal. Power users, those with slower (and noisy) machines, and laptop users will likely turn off the automated features and use Diskeeper 2008 as a manual defragmenter, but at least the option is there for hassle-free defragmenting. Personally, we prefer the simplicity, effectiveness and price of Raxco's PerfectDisk because the word 'automated' gives us the bajeebers." http://www.itreviewed.co.uk/rev.php?id=831 _____ Christian Harris Founder & Editor, ITreviewed.co.uk (formerly BIOS) info ( -at -) itreviewed.co.uk _____ Share this post Link to post
