Admiral LSD 0 Posted April 12, 2003 Surely you mean http://www.alsa-project.org/ don't you? Not only is it the default sound architecture for Mandrake, it's also completely free. Getting back on track, what you have there is an AC'97 audio device. These are supported by ALSA as part of it's intel-8x0 driver. Instructions on how to set it up can be found here: http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc...module=intel8x0 Share this post Link to post

|TREMOR| 0 Posted August 4, 2003 By default, the sound is muted in mandrake 9.1. Open aumix (multimedia menu) and increase the levels. Press "S" to save settings, so that they are saved for the next reboot. This will help you all :x Share this post Link to post
