chuck17 0 Posted June 9, 2000 I had a motherboard go bad so i replaced it with another one. now when i try to boot into win2k I get a blue screen that says Inaccessable_Boot_Device. What's going on here? Share this post Link to post
Boyd 0 Posted June 9, 2000 Boot your PC off the Win2k Pro CD and try a repair. Is your new mobo identical to the one that went bad ? If not, good chance you have a different chipset from your old mobo. Also, check your BIOS settings for your hard drive. Share this post Link to post

ComputerMan 0 Posted June 9, 2000 Always when you change a hardware device like video, mother, hard disk of course you *must* reinstall of living the heck of crashing for using the wrong drivers.... Share this post Link to post
Exorcist 0 Posted June 9, 2000 Yup, if you install a new motherboard, definetly reinstall completely. Graphics card hasn't been a problem when I've done it...but I might have just been lucky :smokin: Although on Sunday I'll be installing my new Abit KA7 mobo and GeForce 2 GTS...so will have to reinstall Windows 2000...will try those new Creative Dxr3 drivers as well -Ex- Share this post Link to post
