Snoop 0 Posted June 10, 2000 Hi ! Sometime i get this Bluescreen Error: IRQLESS or NOT EQUAL n??.exe Do you know this error ??? What can i do to prevent this error ? euankirkhope 0 Posted June 11, 2000 Its just a driver fault, usually by a hardware "intensive" devices, most likely it happens when your hard tasking the video card. The IRQ not less or equal is a kernel error, and I suppose means the computer didn't get the results it expected, which are derived from the drivers... But in retrospect windows probably just picks a random number and tells you thats the error that occured Share this post Link to post
ldrews 0 Posted June 12, 2000 I was receiving this error quite frequently while playing Delta Force 2. According to Microsoft, this is a memory error. I checked the MS website and found that this eerror occurs when a program tries to write over some proteted memory. I added an extra 128mb RAM to my system this weekend and did not receive this error once. Is this a possible memory manager problem ??? System is as follows: Super Micro P6DLS mobo Dual PII 300Mhz 384MB RAM (after this weekend) 1-4GB IDE HDD 2-4GB SCSI HDD Plextor 12X CD ROM drive Velocity 4400 AGP 16MB video Share this post Link to post

Palos 0 Posted June 13, 2000 Hmm, i got the same BSOD message due to my TNT2 ****up drivers...I have got the AGP patch for my mobo and it looks better now...I had my machine up for 8 days straight, and it crashed all of a sudden. After reboot, it crashed after half a day...go figure... Share this post Link to post
euankirkhope 0 Posted June 13, 2000 Yeah, My tnt1 does it often although the latest drivers are very good, now its mostly just my CPU overheating and something causing fastfat.sys to hang the system now and again, all and all its very good. Apparantly the IRQ not less or equal happens when a driver/program tries to access memory outwith its allocated regions. IE MS blame the hardware companies ------------------ System Spec: FIC VA-503+ 1.1b bios JE438 CPU Current Limiter Disabled AMD K6-2 550 (300 when I talk to FIC tech support) 128Mb SSi PC100 STB Velocity 4400 16Mb PAL TV-Out Hauppauge Wintv Realtek 8029 LAN Creative ES1371 (PCI64v) 56.6K (AkA 44k) ISA Modem Creative 48mx CDROM Memorex TriMaxx200(DVD/CDR/CDRW, 6,4,24) Maxtor 91301U3 13Gb LS120 and com and lpt i/o conflict error during bios startup. Hardware fault caused by win2k beta3 and dodgy bios, now irrepairable. Share this post Link to post

DosFreak 2 Posted June 17, 2000 Try switching your computer to standard instead of ACPI. Share this post Link to post
