phrodon 0 Posted June 22, 2000 I have installed (after numerous tries) W2K server. I still cannot get my AGP contoller to install. When I boot I get "Finding new hardware... PCI to PCI bridge". It then tries to install the AGP controller and I get device failure. My Computer setting in device manager is ACPI PC. I have: Abit BE6-II Celeron 300mhz 512mb RAM ATA66 installed Asus V3800 with Nvidia 522 driver patch How do I get my AGP controller installed...?? Is this a BIOS problem or a video card driver problem... or what?? Thanks, Mike Share this post Link to post

BladeRunner 0 Posted June 23, 2000 *Shrugs* I've got a BE6-II motherboard here. I installed the 120-day trial version of Win2k Server before I took it off and installed my copy of Win2k Pro. Never had any problems what so ever with the AGP controller. As the guy before me said, are you over-clocking ya CPU? ------------------ ************************* PIII 650, ABit BE6-II, 384MB PC100 RAM, Matrox G400MAX, SB Live! phrodon 0 Posted June 26, 2000 I have not overclocked the CPU. It is rated at 300mhz. What did you set your BE6-II BIOS for PnP OS. Is your Computer setting ACPI in device manager? This should have been a easy install, but has lasted over 2 weeks. Thanks, Mike Share this post Link to post
