Codeminion released Egyptian Encounters - the second expansion to the successful Ancient Quest of Saqqarah. The developers are also running "Get Featured In Our Game" contest for all who buy the expansion. Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is a vast and highly successful casual puzzle game. The expansion also includes additional gameplay music, extra graphics and new ranks for the players to collect.

 

Warsaw, Poland - Independent studio Codeminion launches Egyptian Encounters - the second expansion to the successful casual puzzler Ancient Quest of Saqqarah. The developers also announced the "Get Featured In Our Game" contest for all who buy the expansion, in which the winner will have the chance of having his or her face featured in upcoming game of the studio.

 

Egyptian Encounters is the second SaqPack add-on to Ancient Quest of Saqqarah and it expands the game with 504 new levels, effectively doubling the original content. The expansion also includes additional gameplay music, extra graphics and new ranks for the players to collect. Egyptian Encounters is available for both PC and Mac OS X from the Saqqarah's official website at the price of $9.95 (USD). Full version of the original Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is required to run the expansion.

 

The developers are also running "Get Featured In Our Game" contest on their website. From all those who purchase the add-on, at the end of January, one person will be picked to have the chance of having his or her face featured in one of the upcoming Codeminion titles. The studio haven't disclosed any more information on this new game, other than that it is scheduled for release in the early 2010.

 

Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is a vast and highly successful casual puzzle game, described by GameZebo as "a benchmark against which to score all future competition". With over 500 levels spread across 7 different puzzle mechanics, lush graphics, rich soundtrack and main character voiced by Michael McMconnohie (Diablo 2, World of Warcraft), Saqqarah is one of the largest and most polished puzzle games of 2008. The game is available for both PC and Mac OS X at the price of $19.95 (USD).
