[ANNOUNCE] GNOME Utilities 2.25.0 - "Maybe This Christmas"

Recommended Posts

here's the second stable release of the gnome-utils package for the

GNOME 2.24 release cycle.

as usual, you can download it from:

http://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-utils/2.24/

first of all, I'd like to get a round of applause for Cosimo Cecchi, the

newest addition to the maintainers team of the gnome-utils package;

Cosimo ported gnome-screenshot to GIO and to GDK in the last development

cycle. Not happy with that, he cut the dependency on libgnome and

libgnomeui on most of the modules inside gnome-utils, fixed bugs

everywhere, and is now busy cleaning^Wrewriting logview. make sure to

buy him a beer at the next GUADEC.
