Julius X 0 Posted July 18, 2000 I recently tried to update some of my drivers in Win2000, and discovered that no matter what I tried to do, no drivers would install. Every time I tried to install a driver of any type, I get a "Driver could not be installed because a file could not be located" or something similar---a file not found error, in gist. But it never says what file. Problem here is--(besides obviously not being able to install any new drivers), I can't even go back to the ones I was using. I recently attempted to update the drivers for my Asus V6600, and when the system rebooted, I was stuck in VGA mode with no apparent way to reinstall my old drivers(due to problem above). Has anyone had any similar experiences, with clues on how to resolve this issue, or would I be better off just reinstalling? Thanks. Share this post Link to post
