Toronto (Ontario, Canada) - Agile Web Solutions today announced the release of 1Password 2.9.8 that enhances browser integration and greatly improves support for users who have a large number of Logins. This update is recommended for all users and is a free upgrade for all paid 1Password customers.

What is 1Password?

* The most popular password manager for Mac OS X and iPhone (according to MacUpdate, VersionTracker and iUseThis ratings).

* Winner of Best of Show Award at Macworld Expo 2009.

* A Macworld magazine "Mac Gem", rated 4.5 out of 5 and nominated for a Macworld Readers' Choice Award.

* Provides the ability to sync your Mac passwords with your iPhone/iPod touch.

* The only password manager with integrated Anti-Phishing Technology.

* An automatic form filler with support for credit cards and multiple identities.

* A highly secure database to keep track of logins, secure notes, identities, credit cards, bank accounts, and software registration information.

What is new in this release?

* Enhanced Browser Integration - This release improves browser extensions and adds support for the latest version of Flock as well as the nightly Camino and Firefox builds.

* Better Login Matching - In the 1Password browser extension, the login that best matches the current page will be shown first, as well as automatically filled when using keyboard shortcut. By analyzing the address of the current page, 1Password is able to intelligently choose which of the saved logins should be used. All other Logins are still available from the Other Logins submenu.

* Improved Login Handling on Dynamic Websites - In the last release of 1Password, some web sites that were dynamically generated would not allow saving of Logins. 1Password would incorrectly report 'No Logins Found' when saving. A similar issue would happen when restoring a Login. This release fixes this issue.

* Full Change Log - The full detailed changelog for this release can be found on the 1Password web site.

System Requirements:

* Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard)

Pricing and Availability:

A Single User license is available for $39.95 (USD) and a five user Family License for $59.95 (USD). 1Password may be downloaded for free from the Downloads page. A fully functional 30-day trial version is available, along with a free version limited to 20 items. Special media licenses are available for members of the press and the blogging community upon request.
