jdulmage 0 Posted July 20, 2000 Anyways, when I start my computer up it is suppose to have an external cache of 512k, instead it says External Cache: 512K, Disabled. How do I enable it? I looked all over in the BIOS. Thanks...even though i've been an ass..except the 9 page post, that is suppose to keep going Share this post Link to post
ComputerMan 0 Posted July 20, 2000 Anyways, what MB did you have ? Did you upgrade the bios ? If you are using the Win2k the bios setups doesnt count that much, as win2k and Nt reads the hardware directly. Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted July 20, 2000 sorry for missing out alot of the info...my motherboard is a GigaByte Athlon 71-XE Motherboard. Yes I upgraded the bios. I use Windows 2k..but I figured that the cache should be enabled for performance reasons Share this post Link to post
