Silent-IQ 0 Posted July 22, 2000 Is there a way to make Guillemots Force Feedback Racing Wheel work in win2k? are there any working drivers for win2k? //Silent Share this post Link to post
evil Homer 0 Posted July 22, 2000 Thats weird, I was going to ask the same question, as I bought one today in anticipation of Grand Prix 3 coming out next week. So, is it possible? evil Homer Share this post Link to post
cuke 0 Posted July 22, 2000 Hi, I'm also waiting for GP3 to come out next week but I went and got a MS Sidewinder Precision wheel. No forceback I know but still a damm fine wheel and a steal at £36 including next day delivery. The version 4.0 drivers work fine with w2k as well. Chris Share this post Link to post
Silent-IQ 0 Posted July 22, 2000 come on, i want to keep this post alive so we can solve this little prob. Isnt there a way to modify the .inf file so that win2k accepts the drivers or something? Share this post Link to post
evil Homer 0 Posted July 23, 2000 I emailed Guillemot UK Tech Support with an interesting request to see if there were drivers on the horizon yesterday. Obviously, will have to wait until during the week to get a reply. If I get one, I'll let you know what they said. evil Homer Share this post Link to post
Silent-IQ 0 Posted July 23, 2000 Yeah....i hope you get an answer...guillemot is sure pretty lasy with the drivers....i mean..there cant be much that must be done for win98 drivers to work in win2000... /Silent Share this post Link to post
evil Homer 0 Posted July 24, 2000 I got a reply from Guillemot Tech Support this afternoon. "We are currently working on Windows 2000 drivers for our force feedback wheel and hope to have them available from our website shortly. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me. Regards" Looks promising. evil Homer Share this post Link to post
