SallyOReilly 0 Posted July 25, 2000 anyone know if these drives work in windows 2000? or has anyone even used one for that matter? i've never heard of them , any info or feedback would rock. 2.2 gigs for 30 bucks sounds amazing... if no one knows what i'm talking about, go to castlewood.com. gramaglia 0 Posted July 25, 2000 If you look in support, you will find you can download the ultimate drivers for Win9x/NT/2k (maybe they work also under WinME), remember that they are a SCSI Device! (well ok there are also Parallel, but...). I heard that they are fast and reliable, the only thing you don't have to do is to let them fall on the floor, they don't resist too much to falls.... DocSilly 0 Posted July 25, 2000 Some people are complaining about failing drives or media ... I have the internal SCSI version and it is really fast. They just work as a plain removable drive like my internal SCSI ZIP and I don't have the ORB software installed. Win2000 backup can use the ORB drive right away and that's all I want from this drive. I have no own experience in longterm reliability, I just got the drive 2 months ago for $170 ... time will tell. Share this post Link to post
