Mainz, Germany - Synium Software is proud to release their fourth application for iPhone and iPod touch. After MobileFamilyTree, StuffRadar and MotoCross, the next in line is the brand new "vCarder". vCarder selects any number of contacts from the iPhone's Address Book and sends them to business partners and friends. The interactive customization allows users to selectively suppress e.g. a contact's date of birth or private phone number. The original Address Book entry will not be changed and always preserves all the details.

vCarder relies upon the user's familiar e-mail service, requiring only a standard SMTP account. vCarder does not route sensitive data through obscure channels or unknown and untrusted servers somewhere on the Internet.

On local wireless networks, vCarder uses Apple's Bonjour to send contact information to any connected iPhone or iPod touch with vCarder installed. Compatible mobile devices are automatically detected, no configuration is required.

vCarder fully supports Unicode, correctly handling umlauts and accents, as well as foreign writing systems. Japanese or Russian users can contact colleagues and friends, pristinely preserving their vCards' original appearance.

Important features in vCarder:

* comfortably send digital contact information (vCards) from your iPhone or iPod touch

* flexibly customize which information to send and which to suppress (addresses, phone numbers, personal details, etc.)

* secure transmission over the user's well-known and trusted e-mail server

* vCarder does not add to the dependency upon third-party services

* comprehensive support for Unicode correctly handles foreign writing systems

* Bonjour transmission in local wireless networks. No complex configuration required

* choice to send only vCards, or to attach them to individual, personalized e-mail messages

Supported Languages:

* vCarder is fully localized in US English and German

System Requirements:

* vCarder requires an iPhone or iPod touch with system software version 2.2

Availability and Pricing:
