news 28 Posted March 1, 2009 Hi, Philipp Sadleder and me are proud to announce the availability of GNOME Scan 0.6.2. This is maintainance release providing several fixes while 0.8 release has been postponed. GNOME Scan aim's to make scan as easy for user and application developers. This is done through a library providing hardware support (through SANE) and ready-to use dialog just like GtkPrint does for printing. GNOME Scan uses GEGL for handling image data and processing, allowing to processe quickly huge image.
