Karelia Software today announced the availability of Sandvox Designs, an on-line showcase for website designs created by Karelia and third-party developers for use with Sandvox, Karelia's easy website builder for the Mac. Featuring over 70 designs, the new site offers Sandvox users the opportunity to learn about new designs as they are released or updated, and to view descriptions, thumbnails, and full-size previews of real-life websites created with each design.

 

Alameda, California - Karelia Software today announced the availability of Sandvox Designs, an on-line showcase for website designs created by Karelia and third-party developers for use with Sandvox, Karelia's easy website builder for the Mac. Featuring over 70 designs, the new site offers Sandvox users the opportunity to learn about new designs as they are released or updated, and to view descriptions, thumbnails, and full-size previews of real-life websites created with each design.

Site Structure

 

Visitors to Sandvox Designs are presented with a quick list of the latest updates and new releases. Also available as an RSS feed for easy notifications, each entry features a short description of the design, an icon, small preview thumbnails, and links to purchase or download designs. For updated entires, a list of "what's new" is included.

 

Designs can also be viewed by vendor, with company information and additional details about each design. Each design is also presented on its own details page, with larger thumbnails of sample sites and live links to sites created by Sandvox users around the world.

 

Contributors

 

Sandvox Designs launches with creations by Sandvox Web Designs, Blueball Design, and Jumsoft. Companies wishing to create and offer their own designs for Sandvox are welcome to contribute their listings; individuals who have built their own designs to share are also encouraged to list their offerings. Free design downloads can be hosted directly by Karelia if desired. Sandvox Designs also lists all designs available from Karelia, including the fifty built-in designs plus several others that are available for free.
