ruitao 0 Posted September 2, 2000 How do I install the drivers for a generic 2 button, plus a scroll wheel ps/2 mouse? Share this post Link to post
DocSilly 0 Posted September 2, 2000 Either select the manufacturer from your mouse from the long list or try "{Standard mouse types) | Standard PS/2 Port Mouse" and select "Device Manager | Mice and pointing devices | yourmouse | Properties | Advanced Settings | Wheel Detection -> Assume wheel is present" hmmm, maybe you want to switch between a generic 2 button and a PS/2 wheel mouse ? someone_nt 0 Posted September 2, 2000 Unplug your mouse, and delete your driver entry from device manager ("mouse and other pointing devices"). Shutdown your computer, then plug again your mouse. Windows 2000 will detect you mouse again, and will install wheel mouse support. If you still have problems, try using logitech drivers. Share this post Link to post
