news 28 Posted April 4, 2009 Zalman hasn’t rested on its laurels and has tried to improve upon an already close-to-flawless design. The Zalman CNPS9900 LED is one of their newest heatsinks, and it actually is a dual-heatsink design that uses ultra-thin fins to minimize weight and reduce airflow resistance. While the dual-heatsink design is sound on paper, I don’t think it worked when it was executed. I might be making something out of nothing because the results were very close to the Monsoon III LT, but it just seems that their heatsinks should stand out from the pack and not just stay even with them."
