TextSoap 6.2 adds a new cleaner: "Smarten Quotes in HTML Text". Moving beyond standard smarten quotes, the new cleaner only converts quotes in the text portion of HTML files, leaving quotes within HTML tags unchanged. TextSoap 6.2 includes a new Entourage 2008 Script for better integration with Entourage 2008. Users install the script via the Plugin preferences. It uses a new fully keyboard-driven popup window to help select cleaners.

 

The new release also addresses a number of customer related issues and requests, including BBEdit palette improvements, an additional scripting command, and more.

 

The release of TextSoap 6.2 helps mark 11 years of TextSoap text cleaning.
