Ryanrk 0 Posted September 21, 2000 When is creative labs releasing the drivers for DRX3 for win2k. UG Share this post Link to post
Stephen Van Siclen 0 Posted September 23, 2000 I gave up, couldn't quite get the calibration right on the beta drivers and the Hollywood plus drivers wouldn't work even with zone selector launching the station app. Figured it was worth the $40 bucks to get a real Hollywood Plus. Thats a bit of a bust too, all works well but the Hollywood Plus app cannot Run while WindowBlinds is running and the Creative Beta did not have this problem. Maybe if Creative finally decides that Windows 2000 is worth thier time they'll "get around to it", then I'll put my dxr3 back in. DeadCats 0 Posted September 23, 2000 There's a couple of different hacks floating around on the message forum. If you do a search on, "dxr3" you'll find them. One involves using the Sigma Hollywood Win2K beta drivers along with some of Creative's stuff. I've tried that solution and it worked very well. The other involves Creative's beta drivers (available from Creative), along with a simple registry hack, which I'm now using, and it also works very well. ------------------ "This year will go down in history.
