Los Angeles, CA - "Welcome to Macintosh, The documentary for the rest of us" has been officially selected to present at the 2009 Delray Beach Film Festival in Delray Beach, Florida on May 20th 2009. The documentary has presented at five international film festivals including the 10th Annual Wisconsin Film Festival, the 4th Globians World and Culture Documentary Film Festival, the 2nd Annual FuzzB Family Film Fest, the 1st Ann. Naperville Independent Film Fest as well as the Cleveland Ingenuity Festival.

"We are happy to be a part of the Delray Beach Film Festival," says Robert Baca, Co-Director of the film. "The interest in Apple and the history of the Mac spans to more than just "fanboys" and so called "geeks". It transcends race, gender, ethnicity and class. Apple technology truly is a world wide phenomenon."

The Delray Film Festival runs from May 19th to the 24th, 2009. In addition to offering films that might not otherwise be released theatrically in the USA, the Delray Film Festival (DBFF) provides a unique cultural experience as well as educational programs and forums for exploring the future of cinema.

Truly a "filmmakers' festival," the DBFF takes place in a relaxed, artsy enclave located on the picturesque coast of South Florida where enthusiastic and thoughtful audiences await. The DBFF brings high-quality independent short and feature-length narrative and documentary films - along with panels and workshops, concerts, contests, celebrities, and parties - to this sunny vacation destination, a village by the sea boasting a friendly, laid-back vibe.

"The goal was to make a film that you can show to anyone, anywhere, and have them understand why so many people love Apple and the Mac," says Josh Rizzo, Co-director. "Having been selected to present at such diverse festivals is a sign that we are achieving that goal."

Welcome to Macintosh will be presented Wednesday, May 20th at 1:00pm in the Delray Beach Library. Tickets will be available through the festival website.
