INFERNO2000 0 Posted October 12, 2000 Whenever I try to add the printer to my computer, it keeps saying "OUT OF RESOURCES Printer operation cannot continue due to lack of resources. The print subsystem is unavailable. " It's plugged in, and has power...and worked on my other computer, so what's going on? HP 660CSe from 1995, worked well for a long time with no problems...could it be giving out? It did work with Windows 2000 last semester. Share this post Link to post
Rik 0 Posted October 14, 2000 It might be worth checking that the Printer Service is starting correctly, or indeed is still set to'auto' (take a look through the Event Viewer and Services). I get the exact same message when I do anything printer-related, as I have the printer service turned off (don't have a printer at the moment). Share this post Link to post
