zHosTer 0 Posted November 2, 2000 Is anyone successfully using TDK's Velo CDRWs with W2K? Share this post Link to post
KJ1999 0 Posted November 2, 2000 Never tried them...but they are not great disks!! You should stick to Sony, HP or Kodak! They are the best! Never had any problem with these 3 brands. Especially as far as reading them later...like an audio CD in a car! Share this post Link to post
GHackmann 0 Posted November 2, 2000 He's talking about the CD-RW drives, not the disks. While I can't talk from personal experience, the TDK website says that it is compatible, and it uses Nero which should be compatible too. You won't get packet writing yet though since it uses InCD which isn't Win2K compatible yet. Share this post Link to post
BlaZeR2 0 Posted November 4, 2000 I am currently using a TDK VeloCD 1210 on a dual Win2k system it came with nero 5, which i used for a while, but recently switched to adaptec 4 EZ CD. Direct CD 3 with the latest update, supports drive, so you get packet writing in 2000. This drive is also fully CloneCD compatible. I would recomend it whole-heartedly. After all, it is just a rebadge of the Plextor 1210A BlaZeR2 Share this post Link to post
Ge0ph 0 Posted November 4, 2000 I have a freind that has one. It replaced his Plextor CDRW and he says the TDK is the best burner he has ever owned, and he has went through a lot of burners. Share this post Link to post
