Sparkhard 0 Posted November 14, 2000 Hey i was wondering if anyone has an Aureal VOrtex1 on a Mobo with a VIA chipset running Win2k.. I have a Vortex 1 and a Tyan Tiger 133, i need to know if the Vortex will work in 2k or do i need to get another sound card.. ? oh and another thing , since Creative bought out Aureal , where the hell do i get drivers for it? Ive looked at the site but i cant find anything.. maybe im looking in the wrong spots... Share this post Link to post
michaeljbrooks 0 Posted November 17, 2000 There are beta Windows 2000 drivers for all Aureal Vortex cards. Since Aureal went bankrupt and Creative Labs bought them, the Aureal Web site is not very well maintained. I always go to http://www.vortexofsound.com to get the latest Aureal news and drivers.
