Game developer syncRage today released Taxi Drive New York for iPhone and iPod touch for free. Now available as free version, gamers make money as a taxi driver on the asphalt of the Big Apple. You must confront yourself with increasing traffic density and can earn additional lives and unlock licenses for new neighborhoods. Berlin, Germany - syncRage is providing its first successfull iPhone game with a free version for novice drivers. The player has to avoid an ever increasing number of other vehicles, while passengers have to be transported over the asphalt of New York. Taxi Drive enjoys an enormous popularity! Easy to play, very intuitive controls, challenging and really fun! To share this gameplay excitement with a greater audience, Taxi Drive is now available as a Free-Version with one playable map and all functionalities.

The enhanced "Taxi-Crasher" will soon be available as an updated version in the app store - it will be free of charge for all buyers of the first version! It includes new challenges and features, which are mostly the result of feedback from the community.

 

The update will support another cool new feature: scoreloop - the player will be able to play Taxi Drive against other fast fingered buddies and those aspiring to that. Using the social network (e.g. Facebook) or email contacts he will be able to contact friends and invite them to challenge in playing TaxiDrive. This is handled by the integrated scoreloop module. Scoreloop also saves best scores into a global highscore list where players can compare skills with other players all over the world!
