CuStOm 0 Posted November 30, 2000 Unfortunately I do not have the luxery of emailing tech support or calling them. Does anyone have the hotfix that MS is referring to on this page? http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/...RCH&SPR=CHS I can not enable DMA at all on my mobo. I am stuck at PIO4. It sucks. I have a VIA KT133 motherboard, W2K, and an IBM 75GXP. Can anyone help? ------------------ AT[H]LON RULZ!! Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted November 30, 2000 well, for one thing, you have to meet the requirements. If you don't have one of those enchanced cables, for example, a UDMA 66 cable, you couldn't get DMA enabled, etc. Same goes for ATA 100 I guess. Make sure you have that type of IDE cable first.
