Macweed seeks to raise awareness of independent software developers for the Mac OS X operating system. To this end, we offer a software package that encompasses a wide range of uses that almost anyone can benefit from. We do this for a specific reason: to assist those in unfortunate circumstances. Twenty (20) percent of all proceeds from this bundle will be donated to the Italian Red Cross (CRI) in an effort to help the thousands of people displaced by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake that hit the Abruzzo region of Italy a few weeks ago.

 

The CRI makes every effort to help people in difficult circumstances and is renowned the world over for their contributions. Our contributions are intended to help the men and women of the CRI continue to provide services to those who need them. We are grateful for the contributions of the CRI beyond mere words. The least we can do is provide a fundraiser to assist the CRI in current and future efforts.
