Ekstreme 0 Posted December 20, 2000 Over the last week or so I've been seeing an error I've not come across before. Below is the event viewer account: Source: FTDISK Event ID: 50 {Lost Delayed-Write Data} The system was attempting to transfer file data from buffers to \Device\HarddiskVolume1. The write operation failed, and only some of the data may have been written to the file. Source: Application Popup Event ID: 26 Application popup: Windows - Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \Device\HarddiskVolume1\blah\blah.*. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere. These errors happen on both my SCSI and IDE drives. I'm about to revert to a non beta BIOS and hope this may fix the prob, but any other input is much appreciated.
