Ronin 0 Posted January 24, 2001 I have an Elsa Gladiac Ultra card and when I enable the coolbits feature and try to overclock the card it will not keep the settings after a reboot. Now I don't even think the overclocking feature works because I can set the memory/chip clock to the max and the card should crash and not work at all but it seems to work fine but I see no difference in FPS. Now before you say anything I'm using the 6.49 drivers and these drivers overclocked my Geforce 2 card without a problem and the settings stayed in place even after a reboot. Any ideas, or another program I could use. Power Strip 2.78 does not work for overclocking the ultra card but it works ok for the Geforce 2 card? Driver suggestions another program for overclocking would be great if anyone has an ideas. clutch 1 Posted January 24, 2001 I had the same thing happen with a GeForce SDR from a Dell PC. I could use any setting, but no difference. I put in a VisionTek GeForce SDR, and it worked fine. Same drivers (6.31) and same hardware config. In addition, I don't think you have enough processor to make the overclocking worth it, besides, the memory is running so close the max spec that it probably wont go any further. ------------------ Regards, clutch Share this post Link to post
Ronin 0 Posted January 25, 2001 Clutch, Thanks for your responce but what you said does not help me out. Please read the post more clearly and you will see what I'm talking about. Share this post Link to post
Wolf87 0 Posted January 25, 2001 I had the same problem with 6.47 Detonators drivers so that may be a characteristic of that series. The 6.62 drivers overclock correctly with coolbits and hardware tab after replacement of NvCpl.dll by the one included with 6.31. Share this post Link to post
