AkashJ 0 Posted January 28, 2001 ok i have a USR 3com Message Modem 56k External. in win2k it will read it, install it and connect to the ISP however it wont go beyond 500byte/s and webpages time out. this is the same problem in winME! i have tried win2k's own drivers as recommended by 3com, i have tried NT4 drivers and have tried 3coms win2k drivers. neither worked. port speed is 152000 still nothoing. works fine in win9x and winNT4 just not win2k and winME whats going on?
