simonroockley 0 Posted February 1, 2001 I am currently backing up data every night on a file server, but occasionally the backup fails and the NT backup program complains that the DAT is not ready. The only way to cure this is to reboot. I've found out why it locks (the backup is scheduled using the at command in the console window and when the total file sizes exceeds the tape capacity backup.exe locks out the 4mm device). Is there any way to clear this error without having to reboot? Share this post Link to post
