Updated iPhone rock-paper-scissors game puts the tastic in craptastic - Published on 09/28/09

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nor Eagle today announced "Ben's somewhat spiffy-looking but ultimately craptastic rock-paper-scissors", an update to their iPhone and iPod Touch game. The game features rock, paper and scissors all in the same game, loads of words in the title, graphics, no annoying sound to be turned off, nice looking icon, three different play-modes, and more. New features include frame animation, added soundtrack, improved graphics, and automatic saving of the high-score.

Oslo, Norway - Nor Eagle today announced that version 1.5 of Ben's somewhat spiffy-looking but ultimately craptastic rock-paper-scissors game is now available for download.

T. Benjamin Larsen, Nor Eagle CEO, Creative Director and hand-model had this to say about the update: "This is by far our biggest update. Rather ironic, as the initial motivation behind the update was simply to change the look of the Insulting Monk to match the look he has in one of our upcoming titles. When revisiting the title however we found a lot of things we wanted to improve.".

Ben's somewhat spiffy-looking but ultimately craptastic rock-paper-scissors game originally went on sale April 14th. and has shown fairly modest sales-figures. The commercial potential in issuing an update to something as mundane as a rock-paper-scissors game might seem minuscule and Mr. Larsen readily admitted so: "I think it's safe to say that this update will not make us any money. I consider it more of a service to our customers. Hopefully they'll enjoy it." he said. "Personally I think a small feature like the recently included saved High Score gives the app a level of playability that simply wasn't present before. I'm confident we've brought the game up to a new level of um, craptasticness!"

Changes and additions in version 1.5:

* Displays and saves the high-score in the "play 'til you lose" category

* Added really annoying music that is sure to drive you mad

* Changed the graphics of the Monk, to match upcoming apps with the same character

* Added a frame of animation to the Monk

* New icon

* Several small changes to the interface

System Requirements:

* iPhone and iPod Touch 2.2.1 or later

Pricing and Availability:

Ben's somewhat spiffy-looking but ultimately craptastic rock-paper-scissors game is available for $0.99 (USD) from the iTunes App Store.
