Galilee 0 Posted February 16, 2001 Hi I have a well know problem, but I don't know how to fix it. I have a Sony 10X RW under win2k but no burner program finds it. I first installed winoncd that comes with the burner. ITs a fairly new version and it is known to work. But it can't find the burner....thinks its a normal cd reader. Then installed Easy CD creator 4, but no luck there either. What do I do? Do I need some ASPI thing? or? Its a IDE writer. Share this post Link to post
Four and Twenty 0 Posted February 16, 2001 If u use ezcd creator go to roxio.com and download the latest update there. You don't need to install aspi support cause it comes with ezcd creator. The most recent version update is 4.03 I think that should fix u up. Share this post Link to post

DosFreak 2 Posted February 16, 2001 4.0 comes with it's own internal ASPI support. Share this post Link to post

For example, AudioCatalyst needs aspi drivers to rip audio at high speeds in win2k, whether or not your drive is scsi. Share this post Link to post
CrazyKillerMan 0 Posted February 18, 2001 Yup, aspi drivers are needed in win2k for aspi ripping, or, you could rip @ real time!!! Share this post Link to post
