ngwit 0 Posted February 25, 2001 i just spent money on a cambrige soundworks surround system ... now i have it hooked up to my sblive platinum 5.1. I am using the digial out on the back of the sblive card and i checked that box in the play control labled "Digital out only". and in Surround Mixer turned on "AC-3 decode". and have my speakers set to 5.1 speakers. but still when i do the "test" in Surround Mixer it just does front left and front right out of my center speaker.... and my receiver says that it is only a 2 channel singal... how do i get it into the 5.1??? the receiver is a marantz 7000 with model seventeen bookshelf and a Center Channel II using the $1.50 monster cable (the cable of the computer is going to the digital in on the reciever) AMD k62 500 voodoo 3 3000 sound blaster live 5.1 platium 128mb ram creative 12x dvd and dxr3decoder card 30 gb maxter 7200 hd 40 gb maxter 5400 hd hp 8100 cdrw (4x2x24) acerlan ALN-320 10/199 Ethernet adapter win 2000 adv server with service pack 1 Share this post Link to post
