Zevrix Solutions today announces File Courier 1.0 public beta, a pre-release version of its new automatic digital delivery solution. File Courier delivers files and folders to FTP and local destinations and sends automatic e-mail delivery notifications. The e-mail messages are based on customizable templates and contain the detailed info about the item and its location. The software also lets users attach files to e-mail messages and send them as encrypted disk images.

 

Toronto (ON), Canada - Zevrix Solutions today announces File Courier 1.0 public beta - a pre-release version of its new solution for automatic digital delivery. File Courier delivers files and folders to FTP and local destinations and sends automatic e-mail notifications upon delivery.

 

File Courier solves the problem of creating notifications manually each time you send a file to a customer's FTP site or copy it for a colleague on your internal network. Manual notifications can be a tedious and time consuming task which often leads to mistakes and miscommunication between a sender and a recipient.

 

With File Courier, these problems become a thing of the past because the e-mail notifications are sent automatically upon delivery. The messages are based on powerful token-based templates which contain the detailed info about the file and its location. The recipient list can be specified for each destination, as well as at a global level in the templates.

 

File Courier also lets users attach files to e-mail messages and send them as encrypted disk images, test FTP locations to ensure the info is entered correctly, and provides the detailed progress feedback during file transfer. Both files and folders can be delivered, with folders being compressed automatically when transferred to FTP locations.
