Toby 0 Posted February 28, 2001 I read on some newsgroups that it was possible to flash the 9100 with the 9300 firmware using Sonys flashtool with HP's firmware. I could not resist to try it out and after some nailbiting, booting win2k and testburning I can tell you it worked *great* ! All apps and windows see the drive as a 9300+. So far I have burnt 5CD's at 10X, no problems at all. Tested with Nero5, EZCD5 and CDR-Win. If any of you want the files I'll send them to you, just mail me... // Toby Share this post Link to post
