jtwind1980 0 Posted July 9, 2003 Basically i get this error when trying to use ftp with a regular user. If I'm root, ftp works fine... I've checked the permissions of the ftp binary, and everything looks fine. Just wondering if anybody has a solution, or where to try. Once again the error message is: "ftp: no such tcp service". Thanks, Jon Share this post Link to post
jtwind1980 0 Posted July 10, 2003 figured it out... /etc/services only had -rw------- permissions, changed to -rw-r--r-- and all works Share this post Link to post
