The geek is in the form of Geek Reply and it answers all those common replies and everyday questions whether you're at work, home or on a date. The app ships with 50 pre-loaded replies but you can also add your own replies and share them. Geek Reply allows you to record and modify your voice to share with others, and even rate shared replies; the higher the rating the higher on the category listing it appears.

 

Melbourne, Australia - After been rejected many times by companies that make money from other people's iPhone application ideas, Joel Eggenhuizen, a start up iPhone developer, has just released his first mobile application. Following months of waiting to have one of many app ideas get picked; Joel decided to start his own business called Modern Geek. He put his basic graphic skills to work and outsourced the development of the application overseas with a small investment.

 

After about three months work on top of a day job, Modern Geek finally completed and released Geek Reply 1.0. Joel Eggenhuizen, who developed Geek Reply says "I feel the app sits between entertainment and practical use as we all experience these scenarios and at times have been lost for words, unable to send out a quick response or simply can't be bothered answering the same question again."

In developing Geek Reply, Modern Geek worked with five leading voice artists to create 50 pre-loaded replies but you can also add your own replies and share them.

 

Geek Reply allows you to record and modify your voice allowing other users to save shared replies to their device for playback when they get asked common questions. You can rate shared replies; the higher the rating the higher on the category listing it appears.
