INFERNO2000 0 Posted March 26, 2001 Anyone else notice that when you install the 2k version of the drivers, that you lose the nvidia panel in the advanced properties(for the display)? I can't get into it to do anything I want to(overclock)... and it's ticking me off..I get better performance, but I can't edit anything..like select FSAA, or move my D3d from whatever it is to 255mb. Brian Frank 0 Posted March 26, 2001 Get X-setup. Under the video cards section, there's a folder with an nVidia tweak that enables the overclocking feature. I have the 10.80 Dets, and this works on it. I dont know if the latest version of X-setup still has these tweakers installed, but I'll have to look. Share this post Link to post
INFERNO2000 0 Posted March 26, 2001 I tried the coolbits hacks and all...but it was simply gone I couldn't access the nvidia panel, let alone anything beyond that as for hardware, it just gave adapter and acceleration up to full I'll keep waiting for something new to pop up Share this post Link to post
nam ng 0 Posted March 26, 2001 Reboot to safe mode, remove video hardware device then run regedit to delete all nvdia registry keys such as nv4, global, the 0000 or 0001, etc... under class. Verify or copy the exact version of all the video driver files you were installing to their proper places by using the search function to find/compare them. Reboot again and all will be very obvious as to what needed to be done next by window itself. Share this post Link to post
