INFERNO2000 0 Posted March 27, 2001 I keep getting errors...i8042prt... umm...exceeded maximum number of retries (configurable by registry) this has happened on 3 fresh reinstalls... no other drivers or anything loaded...this idnd't happen before though... INFERNO2000 0 Posted March 27, 2001 well..did soem research seems to be for PS2 mice and keyboards my kbd an mouse are both USB....and the keyboard has now PS2 port. any idea how to get rid of these errors? turns out that 2 of the reinstalls are unnecessary now wasted my night Share this post Link to post
