X-Jack

I am looking into buying a 3com X-jack network card for my laptop. I dont want one of those network cards with the dongle thing as they always seem too flimsy, is this a good alternative? is it quite strong? any input is welcome.

I recently bought 3 in for work use, mainly because www.scan.co.uk had a great deal, 3 for £99.

So far no problems with them, it doesn't feel as safe as plugging the network cable into the normal 3Com attachment, but as I say, no breakages yet.

I have seen plenty of both types and i would say that the dongle type is more prone to breakage and troubles than the x jack

 

the thing i dislike about the dongles is that they come unplugged to easily
