Inray 0 Posted April 14, 2001 Hi, I own three SB Live 5.1 Platinum installed in P3 and P4 equipped windows 2000 Pro computers (Intel chipsets 815,820,850). I don't use the whole Liveware as i don't need all the features and accessory apps. I've installed just the drivers from Creative CD. The problem i have is Whenever i try to record through mic (card or drive) using any kind of recording program including windows sound recorder i'm getting clean and loud sound just for one to three recordings. After a while recording volume becomes noisy and very low. I'm getting the same results when using internet phone programs. My voice is load and clear in the begining of transmition but after a while it becomes very low and scratchy. The same problem exist on all the three computers i own. I had similar problem with my previous SB Live Plat(not 5.1). I tried the whole Liveware with the same and sometimes worst problems. I also tried to decrease hardware acceleration without success Even clean installation without any peripherals or other drivers didn't solve this problem BTW after the volume decrease only hard reset fix the problem but just for some minutes (random) Please help me if you know anything on this issue as i'm going to throw away all my SB cards.
