neurobash 0 Posted May 9, 2000 Hey all, have a strange problem here maybe someone could shed some light on. For some reason all of my icons are being displayed in 16 colors. The desktop color depth is set at 32-bit color, and "Display icons using all possible colors" is checked. I have also used Microangelo to reset the icon color depth and rebuild the icon cache. Still I'm stuck with 16 color icons. I'm running Win2k Pro on a 3dfx Voodoo3. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. It's driving me nuts.. Share this post Link to post
PyromanFO 0 Posted June 18, 2001 I have a GF2 with Win2k Pro and the latest official detonator drivers. I have SP2 installed, but it was using 4 colors before SP2 anyway. I have done a clean install, my first in fact, and yet setting "Shell Icon BPP" in the registry nor any other tweak Ive tried has had any effect. Share this post Link to post
