geno368 0 Posted February 10, 2010 It is a pc that was built by a computer store inhouse. It has XP home prem sp3 running an amd processor @ 1.7 ghz. It has 512mb ram and an 80gb hd. It has a SiS mobo. I have eliminated any infections. Now when I boot normally, It freezes up on a blank screen. I went through the whole reload from the XP disk with my license key. I haven't activated yet because safe mode won't let it. When I go to safe boot, I get the desktop fine. Why is it not booting? Thanks for any insight... Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted February 12, 2010 Think I remember something about this. Something to do with the AGP Gart that comes with the motherboard drivers. It's possible that the one included with ones is incompatible with your motherboard so if you can find the right driver online then you should be able to install it in safe mode. Also it's a SIS mobo so smash that POS to bits and get something else. Share this post Link to post
