Mark G 0 Posted July 27, 1999 I have a meaty setip (P3-450, 196Mb, G200) but Quake 3 runs very choppy under NT, but runs a dream under Win98, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? Share this post Link to post
pete 0 Posted August 30, 1999 choppy how? did you guys run a timedemo to see your fps? I have a similar problem - my FPS is fine, but the chunkiness is due to no USB mouse or no Ps2rate (no fast mouse port polling). If you know of a program for this, please post info. thanks Share this post Link to post

raven 0 Posted September 3, 1999 to adjust the ps2rate in nt try this ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/bluesnews/misc/Ps2rateNT.zip and set the rate for 200 or if you want a registry tweak then try this http://www.regedit.com/cgi-bin/detail?id=81 hope that helps... Share this post Link to post
JD 0 Posted September 6, 1999 Try anything but G200. NT is OpenGL dependant, G200 havn't got what it takes in OpenGL. Share this post Link to post
